Some pundits have dismissed witness testimony placing shots in the area of the grassy knoll because Dealey Plaza is an echo chamber.

But Dealey Plaza isn't an echo chamber, is it? Among the witnesses who identified a shot location, it was one of two places: The TSBD Building or the grassy knoll. Consistent with the patriarchal attitudes that dominated most of the 20th Century, the panel of psychiatrists consulted by the Warren Commission wanted to blame Marina Oswald for the murder of the president.

In a rare moment of clarity, the Commission declined to pursue this vector.
